Reporting to the Restaurant Manager, the Chef de Rang will be part of a team of high-level professionals with a strong passion for FB.This is a seasonal, full-time contract role (40-hour working week). You aim to provide each guest with a memorable dining experience.What you’ll be doingWelcome guests and promptly attend to tablesServe food and beverages, making recommendations if neededShare menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requestsRecord transactions in the MICROS system accurately and promptlyCheck-in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each course and beverageClean tables, complete closing duties, and restock suppliesCommunicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, orders, product availability, meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requestsFollow cycle time guidelines for all mealsMaintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the dayInspect the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware before useFollow Standard Operating Procedures and brand identity guidelines at all timesWhat we’re looking forYou must possess the legal right to work in Italy, with a valid work permit for a full-time role (40 hours/week)Fluent in English and ItalianUnderstanding of FB operations and luxury hospitalityPositive outlook and outgoing personalityExcellent conversational skills and teamwork-oriented mindsetExperience in fine dining restaurants is an advantageKnowledge of Micros is preferredThis role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs, stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and maintain a professional appearance in a clean uniform.
