Reporting to the PSQ & Project Pursuit Manager, as Product Selection & Quoting (PSQ) Engineer, you will support sales by preparing and submitting quotations to customers/distributors in a timely and accurate manner. You will also ensure technical alignment with customer specifications by working directly with customers and collaborating with sales, following SBU rules for pricing and manufacturing lead times.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Recording incoming enquiry requests
* Analyzing and registering technical information (Specifications and Datasheets) provided by customers and proposing suitable systems
* Participating in pre-bid technical clarification meetings with customers
* Preparing technical bids with clarifications & deviations
* Collaborating with other functions for torque calculations
* Sending and managing RFQs to actuator manufacturers
* Participating in technical clarification meetings with customers to achieve final technical alignment
* Reviewing commercial terms and conditions impacting financial risk (e.g., warranties, penalties)
* Conducting trade compliance reviews
* Providing technical support and clarifications to the local Sales Office
* Supporting sales with missing price lists
* Managing product quotations in line with company policies
* Processing order receipt and release to manufacturing
* Participating in post-order technical meetings to ensure conditions are met and evaluate financial impacts of requirement changes
* Serving as the reference point for TQ’s during post-order contract reviews
* Translating customer specifications into information for BOM and paperwork creation

Requirements:
* High School Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
* Fluent in Italian and English; additional language preferred
* Understanding of fluid mechanics, electro-mechanical equipment, and metal properties
* Technical literacy and ability to comprehend detailed technical information
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in the flow control industry, understanding valve and actuation applications
* Knowledge of Pressure Equipment Directive (ASME, ANSI, API) standards
