Thanks to NEXTCHEM’s extensive know-how of nitrogen, hydrogen, carbon capture, fuels, chemicals and polymers, you'll be part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability in the energy transition sector. /ppThe candidate will become part of the NX Engineering District of Catania having the opportunity to work on innovative and novel technologies to fully enable the energy transition. /ppThe strongProcess Leader /strong is responsible for the activities related to the Process discipline within medium/small size projects or, reporting to the Process Manager, for a specific scope of work within a large complex project. /ppThe Process Leader coordinates a group of process engineers assigned to the project according to the assigned budget and the project schedule, ensuring cost optimization. /ppstrongDuties and Responsibilities: /strong /pulliEnsure the coordination of the pertaining engineering center and of the other engineering centers involved in the project, ensuring document consistency with the contract, respect of project schedule, and quality of documents under the supervision of the Process Engineering Manager; /liliInterface with the other Discipline leader and Vendors for Process related activities that are part of the project under his/her responsibility; /liliParticipate in multidisciplinary reviews such as Plot Plan, Hazop, and 3D model for the part under his/her responsibility; /liliEnsure assistance during the construction and commissioning phase from home office or on site in accordance with project requirements. /li /ulpThe Process Leader can be assigned to large size or high complexity projects (e.g. multi line project) as a support to the Process Manager for the management of a specific portion (e.g. one line) of the related Process activities. /ppThe Process Leader ensures the coordination of the activities performed by the Process team by analyzing the technical documentation to be provided to the Proposal Function during the bidding phase. /ppAs a member of the Department, the duties of the Process Leader are the following: /pulliProvide feedback to the Process Head of Department regarding issues raised by the application of methodology, standards, and working instructions, to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department; /liliConduct technical training according to the needs of the Department and Company and share experiences with colleagues of Maire Tecnimont Group for new Discipline or Group design methods; /liliKeep updated about Process design and promote improvements. /li /ulpstrongKnowledge Qualifications: /strong /pulliMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering, more than 8 years of experience in similar roles, good management skills of personnel, and aptitude for learning chemical processes and production activities. /liliAdvanced knowledge of production processes, production methods, and technologies. /liliSkills in the use of process simulation software (ASPEN, HYSYS, others). /liliKnowledge of AutoCAD basic features. /liliExcellent use of MS Office system (especially MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint). /li /ulpstrongExperience: /strong /pulliProven professional experience in the chemical, petrochemical, refining, or fuel sectors, with involvement or exposure to sustainability initiatives (i.e. strategic business repositioning, access to new sustainable technologies) or special projects concerning circular economy or energy transition. /liliProven experience developing Feasibility, process Design Packages, Basic Design Packages, FEED, and EPC Projects. /li /ulpstrongSkills and Abilities: /strong /pulliFluent English. /liliExcellent IT and analytical skills. /liliNatural attitude to learn new technologies. /liliAttitude for self-management for project development and completion. /liliAnalysis and problem-solving skills. /liliFlexibility and adaptability. /liliTeam-oriented, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution. /liliAttention to details, strong communications, and interpersonal skills. /liliWillingness to travel in Europe and abroad. /li /ulpstrongJob Location: /strongCatania, Italy /ppstrongRecruiting Email: /strong /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
