Join Our Team as a Sales Specialist! Are you passionate about building strong relationships and driving revenue growth? LGC Standards is seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this hybrid role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing essential technical sales support and ensuring a seamless customer experience. Key Responsibilities
Own all Transactional accounts in an assigned geography and represent the entire LGC Standards product portfolio at new and existing customers, across all end-markets such as Pharma, Biotech, Environmental, etc. Identify and close new prospect opportunities, generated from a combination of prospecting and qualification in collaboration with our marketing department or self-generated leads. Actively engage with customers via email, phone calls and online meetings to qualify leads, convert prospects, follow-up on quotations and drive new sales. Use LGC’s sales tools and virtual capabilities to prospect, nurture, close opportunities and conduct ongoing territory planning. Close cooperation with marketing to launch new products and the core end-market team to identify competitor activity and trends. Be responsible for the daily management of relevant service cloud cases, ensuring tasks are dealt with and a proper response time is guaranteed.
Qualifications
MSc in chemistry, physics, biochemistry, biology, or a related subject area (blend of educational qualifications and experience will be reviewed). Proven experience in selling technical products used in laboratories. Successful track record in
