Job Title: Digital Copywriter
Location: Milan, Via Mecenate 91
Reports to: Digital Copywriting Manager
Role Mission
As a member of the Global Digital Business team, the Digital Copywriter plays a key role in shaping product storytelling and enhancing the user experience across digital platforms. Drawing on detailed inputs from the Global, Corporate, and Collection Merchandising departments, and firsthand exposure to the collections, this role is responsible for crafting compelling product copy and glossaries that reflect Gucci’s brand voice and elevate the online customer journey.
Key Accountabilities
1. Write and quality-assure product descriptions for the Gucci website, adhering to the brand's tone of voice, product writing guidelines, and SEO best practices
2. Collaborate closely with Merchandising teams to ensure product information is accurate, compelling, and sales-driven
3. Partner with the Content team to create engaging copy that supports a seamless and inspiring customer journey
4. Maintain brand consistency across digital copy touchpoints in collaboration with the Editorial team
5. Act as a liaison with the translation agency or leverage internal tools to ensure high-quality translations
6. Support the global digital strategy by developing or updating copy for ad hoc requests from WW and regional stakeholders
7. Contribute to team collaboration and foster effective partnerships across Global Digital functions
Job Requirements
8. 4+ years of experience as a Digital Copywriter, Content Strategist, Linguist, or similar role within a luxury e-commerce or global digital organization
9. Bachelor’s Degree in Writing, Communications, Journalism, or related field preferred
10. Passion for digital copy processes around products and user experience
11. Proven ability to write precise and brand-aligned copy for the luxury goods market
12. Meticulous attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, commercial-focused environment
13. Native-level English writing proficiency is preferred; additional languages are a strong advantage
