The QA Manager will lead and implement quality assurance processes for a major infrastructure projects covering both road and railway construction. This role ensures compliance with Italian and EU standards, contractual requirements, and project specifications. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain the project Quality Assurance Plan in line with ISO standards and client requirements. Oversee quality control activities across all civil works, including roads, bridges, tunnels, and railway tracks. Conduct audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues promptly. Manage documentation for quality procedures, test results, and certifications. Ensure materials and workmanship meet contractual and legal requirements. Train and mentor site teams on quality standards and best practices. Liaise with external stakeholders, including clients and regulatory authorities, for quality-related matters. Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in quality assurance for large-scale infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of Italian construction regulations and EU standards. Familiarity with railway and road construction methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in QA tools and software; ISO 9001 certification preferred. Fluent in Italian and English.
