You will taking charge of the maintenance, design, and development of complex software systems that power global maritime logistics. You won’t just write code; you will shape the tools that keep international trade moving.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for the maintenance, design, and development of complex computer software for a global ocean carrier.
* Design software from requirements, applying industry-leading development practices to ensure high-quality delivery.
* Participate in technical discussions, take full ownership of software components from initial design to final delivery, and provide expert debugging skills.
Key Requirements
* Expert knowledge of C# and .NET Framework (including WPF, WinForms, Serialization, Reflection, Security, ADO.NET, multi-threading, and Entity Framework).
* 3+ years of application development experience with a strong focus on business process optimization.
* Very strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures, user-defined functions, tables, indexes and views.
* Strong understanding of CS fundamentals with proven problem-solving and quantitative analytical skills.
* Ability to implement and continually improve efficiencies within the product development process.
* Direct experience with designing, developing, and implementing EDI solutions.
* Bachelor’s Degree or IT-related certification. A Master’s degree in Computer Science is a significant plus.
* Fluent in English.
* Available to work onsite 5⁄5 in Turin.
Nice to have
* Experience with XML and managing electronic exchange solutions.
* Hands-on experience with C++ programming.
* Experience with Web Services, REST API, or JSON.
* Familiarity with Agile methodology and Azure DevOps.
* Experience in Cloud-Native development.
* Ability to interact with and analyze logging platforms.
