Con sede a Kuala Lampur, PLI vanta oltre 30 uffici marketing in 28 Paesi, con uffici regionali a Kuala Lampur, Pechino, Torino, Belo Horizonte, Chicago e Durban.

PETRONAS Lubricants International è la risorsa tecnica alla base della partnership tecnica di PETRONAS con il team di Formula Uno MERCEDES AMG PETRONAS ed è responsabile del design, dello sviluppo e della consegna delle Fluid Technology Solutions™, con combustibili, lubrificanti personalizzati e fluidi di trasmissione per le Frecce d'argento

Attualmente nella top 10, PLI sta seguendo un programma di crescita aziendale piuttosto aggressivo per solidificare la sua posizione di azienda di lubrificanti leader, all'avanguardia nel settore.


We are looking for an Account Manager Industrial to join our team within the Industrial Business Unit in Italy.

The person in this role will actively support the development of a high-potential Key Account network within the assigned territory (Northern Italy, especially the Lombardy, Emilia Romagna and Veneto regions), working closely with the Industrial Lubricants Sales Manager to drive commercial performance and ensure strong customer relationships.

This position plays a key role in developing new business opportunities within target segments and OEMs, maintaining long-lasting partnerships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure excellent service and account management outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

* Business planning & development: Identify and target key accounts and high-potential market segments to improve profitability, positioning, and market share.
* Customer relationship management: Establish, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in line with global commercial strategy.
* Key account management: Ensure the achievement of budgeted sales and margins through structured, consultative selling.
* Internal coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Technical) to meet customer expectations and support account objectives.
* Strategic planning: Lead joint strategic account planning processes, defining shared goals, financial targets, and short/mid-term milestones.
* Performance monitoring: Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts related to volume, revenue, and gross profit.
* Negotiation: Manage customer agreements and commercial negotiations effectively.



Required Background

* University degree or technical diploma.
* 4–5 years of proven experience in one of the following sectors:
o Lubricants industry (preferably industrial lubricants)
o Tools for mechanical machining
o Machinery for mechanical processing
o Die casting / foundry equipment and processes
* Solid understanding of B2B industrial environments and technical/commercial dynamics.



Technical Skills

* Very good command of the English language (written and spoken).
* Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Strong consultative selling approach and negotiation capabilities.
* Ability to prepare commercial analyses, forecasts, and customer reports.
* Experience in managing complex customers and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multinational team.
