Sous Chef – Wine Resort
OverviewWe are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our Wine Resort. The ideal candidate has a strong appreciation for seasonal ingredients, refined cuisine, and the relationship between food and wine. You will support the Kitchen Staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the elegance and authenticity of our estate.
Responsibilities
Assist overseeing daily kitchen operationsLead and support kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation and serviceEnsure consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to culinary standardsCollaborate on menu execution with a focus on wine pairings and seasonal productsMonitor food products, storage, and preparation to maintain high quality standardsEstablish and maintain cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance schedulesTrain, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to uphold resort and hospitality standardsEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace regulations
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of professional culinary experience, preferably in upscale dining, hospitality, or resort environmentsStrong leadership and communication skillsHigh level of organization and attention to detailPassion for fine cuisine, local ingredients, and wine cultureAbility to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
