Ph3Strategic Business Analyst – Thales Alenia Space /h3 pWe are looking for a Strategic Business Analyst to support market research, business development, and investment activities in the space sector. /p h3Key Duties /h3 ul liUndertake market research analysis, and assess market trends, specifically for Human and Robotic Space Exploration, Space Infrastructure and Science domains /li liIdentify new business opportunities and define value propositions /li liDevelop and document business cases to substantiate new opportunities, identifying perimeter of the initiative/project, business models, alternatives, strengths and weaknesses, benefits and risks, and a preliminary assessment of involved costs, investments, revenues, timescale, organization governance aspects /li liFor selected initiatives of interest, develop and document a more detailed business plan, further analyzing service or product idea, roadmap, commercialization approach and associated most suitable organizational structure, customers and competitors stance, industrial response implications, amount and source of initial funding, financial modeling and financial forecasts including ROI and cash flow forecasts /li liContribute to assessment and due diligence for possible investments and MAs /li liIn close cooperation with Domain Operations and Production Units, contribute to the preparation and justification of evolution roadmap for industrial CAPEX (new facilities, new plants…) /li liIn support to the Product Line Managers and Product Managers, contribute to business estimates and planning for existing product lines /li liIn support to bids preparation, (i) assess customer requests for specific business forecasts or justifications and prepare the associated response to be included in the proposal data package, (ii) contribute to the identification of business and financial risks and opportunities to be included in the risk register /li /ul h3Required Skills and Qualifications /h3 ul liMaster’s degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration /li liAt least 5 years of experience in market research analysis, financial modeling, preparation development of business cases and business plans /li liPrevious experience in corporate strategy and finance are preference criteria /li liData analysis and visualization /li liBusiness and financial modeling /li liStrong written and verbal communication, including technical writing skills /li liCritical thinking /li liStorytellingComfortable with uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity /li liUnderstanding of (space) systems engineering concepts /li liFluent in English language /li liAbility to work with cross-functional teams /li /ul h3Location /h3 pTorino (Italy).
