About the Position
We are looking for a passionate and experienced National Account Manager to make a difference at Kraft Heinz! The position lies within the Italian Business Unit, reports to the Sales Manager GD & Trade Activation and is highly exposed to internal & external stakeholders.
As National Account Manager, the selected candidate will manage direct and indirect reports with a focus on planning and implementing the channel strategies. Key objectives include expanding our distribution, driving growth opportunities, developing, coordinating and leveraging the skills of multifunctional teams (including international relations).
In brief, you will be responsible for:
- Drive the commercial delivery of high-growth brands in retail, ensuring distribution, visibility, and activation plans translate into measurable category growth
- The full P&L; of the assigned customers, defining the annual customers’ business plans and constantly monitoring it.
- Lead the negotiation of first and second-level contracts with the assigned customers.
- Lead negotiations on promotions and assortments to maximize visibility and sales.
- Optimize trade spending with a Revenue Growth Management approach.
- Coordinate, in alignment with the principles of the perfect store, all the sell-out sales force on the POS of the assigned customers.
- Line management of direct report and functional leadership of indirect reports.
Qualifications
Hard Skills & capabilities
- Bachelor or Master degree
- 5-7 years of experience in Sales Roles, leading complex key accounts, preferably in Food & Beverage industry.
- Operational Management, Selling and Negotiation and Project Management skills
- Strong ability to lead through collaboration, networking and influence
- Management of complex businesses in very competitive markets
- Effective Customer Management by leveraging all areas of the P&L;
- People capability-building and Leadership skills to develop functional excellence, engage and inspire people and teams by creating the environment for success to deliver high business results
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, data analysis, and forecasting
- Fluent proficiency English is a mandatory requirement; additional languages will be considered a plus
- Good command of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
