We’re on a mission to become the world’s most requested PPE and Safety Wear Brand. /p h3JOB SUMMARY /h3 pAs the Area Sales Manager for bUmbria, Siena, Grosseto /b, you will bring your P.P.E and/or workwear experience to sell Portwest products to distributors reporting into the Country Manager. We have had extensive growth over the past number of years, and we are looking for you to join to continue this growth trajectory. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liBuild quality business relationships with new and existing accounts. /li liConduct daily face-to-face sales meetings to maintain and develop relationships with distributors, resellers, and agents. /li liIdentify existing customers with high growth potential and create a roadmap for their further development. /li liIdentify new business opportunities and complete sales planning schedule. /li liUtilise strategies to win new business on a continuous and consistent basis. /li liEngage in consultative selling by identifying customers’ needs and provide a Portwest solution to meet those needs. /li liDevelop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. /li liFocus on selling new Portwest products by bringing samples to each meeting. /li liEnsure effective after meeting follow up to close sales. /li liConduct ongoing development of market intelligence, including marketing events such as trade shows, seminars, exhibitions, and journals which is fed back to the business. /li liPromote distributor promotions on our products with end users. /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul li3 – 5 years' experience selling P.P.E, workwear or safety wear sales. /li liExperience selling on behalf of a manufacturer, distributor, reseller or agent. /li liSales experience in a related industry; Construction, Tools Machinery, Industrial etc. /li liDrive to continue sales growth of Portwest through field sales. /li liClean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout your designated region. /li liStrong interpersonal and negotiating skills /li liPositive attitude with a winning mentality /li liExcellent team player /li /ul h3Company Awards /h3 ul liGreat Place To Work 2024 /li liPrivate Irish Business of the year – Export Industry Awards 2024 /li liSilver Ecovadis Sustainability Rating 2025 /li /ul pApplicants must have a right to live and work in the relevant jurisdiction. /p pPortwest is an equal opportunity employer.
