For thousands of years, commerce was human. Merchants knew their customers, understood their needs, and built trust through real conversations. Then came the internet, and we traded humanity for scale. Shopping became efficient but soulless: endless product grids, generic descriptions, no one to guide you.TextYess is here to restore what was lost. We build AI agents that bring back the personal, conversational shopping experience, but at infinite scale. Through WhatsApp, web, voice, and email, we help brands sell through real conversations that feel natural, helpful, and human. Where this is going: an AI-native CRM that runs the entire customer relationship for B2C brands, across every channel, autonomously. We work with brands like Ducati, Pittarosso, Piazza Italia, and Doppelgänger. We've raised over €3M, we're doubling revenue every six months, and we're preparing for international expansion. This is a rocketship, and we're just getting started. The RoleYou’ll own a portfolio of SMB e‑commerce brands and be responsible for growing their revenue with TextYess. This is an account management role with clear commercial targets: you are measured on net revenue retention, expansion, and the health of your book.Your merchants are mostly DTC brands that use TextYess to run WhatsApp campaigns, automate customer conversations with AI agents, and drive retention at scale. Your job is to understand their e‑commerce business deeply enough to know where TextYess can drive more value, and then make that happen. This is not a farming role where you sit on renewals. You actively consult your clients on their retention strategy, identify expansion opportunities (new channels, credit upgrades, campaign services), run regular check‑ins, and close upsells. You have targets. You are expected to hit them. You’ll be joining a small, growing commercial team that includes a Strategic Account Manager (covering the largest accounts), a Product Success Manager (covering onboarding and adoption), and a support team. You own the commercial relationship for your accounts end‑to‑end. What you’ll work onOwn the full commercial relationship for a portfolio of SMB accountsHit monthly and quarterly expansion targets by identifying and closing upsell opportunitiesOwn the strategy for basic‑tier accounts: design the automated outreach and escalation logic that identifies which ones are ready to grow into your active portfolioConsult merchants on their e‑commerce and retention strategy: understand their business, their customers, their pain points, and where TextYess fitsRun regular check‑ins and QBRs with your accounts to drive adoption and surface expansion opportunitiesManage renewals, contract renegotiations, and churn prevention for your portfolioKeep your CRM (Attio) clean and your pipeline accurate so forecasts are reliableBring market intelligence back to the team: what merchants are asking for, what competitors are doing, what is working and what is notIdeally you’ve managed a book of business before and you know what it means to own a number.
