A leading multinational company in the industrial sector is looking for an Area Sales Manager to oversee and grow its presence in the MEA region, covering Middle East, North-West Africa, and Turkey.
This role is meant to amplify the effectiveness of the Salesmen job and SoW (Share of Wallet) when calling on customers within the specific markets in the region within a model of indirect business. By focusing on customer needs and main business drivers, the Area Manager will help deliver tailored value propositions and expand the product portfolio in the region.
Lead and coordinate sales activity within the assigned region through a distributor-based, indirect sales model.
Manage and support a regional sales team, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market needs.
Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals.
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive activity, and provide regular reporting to senior management.
Collaborate in defining the market strategy within a matrix organization, involving multiple internal stakeholders.
Drive strategic account planning, set pricing strategies, and manage negotiations at all levels.
Maintain regular contact with key customers and distributors, planning structured and effective visits.
Ensure sales representatives deliver optimal product and solution mixes, maximizing the company’s presence and offering per customer.
Apply company guidelines for contract review and ensure appropriate delegation of authority is in place.
Coordinate regional marketing initiatives in collaboration with the communication team.
Proven track record in sales management within the MEA region.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Knowledge of French or Arabic is considered a strong advantage.
