Your role
We are looking for a Production Area Manager, who will oversee a production area composed of multiple departments, coordinating people, processes, and resources to ensure the achievement of quality, efficiency, safety, and service objectives. You will collaborate with other area managers and support functions to guarantee compliance with the production plan, monitor KPIs (OEE, scrap, efficiency, productivity, absenteeism), promote a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure proper application of company procedures.
Main responsibilities:
* Ensure safety compliance and oversee production across multiple departments.
* Align resources with the production plan and monitor key performance indicators (volumes, efficiency, scrap, delivery).
* Collaborate on corrective and improvement actions and support new technologies or products.
* Lead and develop shift leaders and team leaders.
* Drive performance evaluations, training, and employee engagement.
* Promote a safe, motivating work environment and reinforce safety and quality culture.
* Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S) and process standardization.
* Analyze data to reduce inefficiencies and scrap.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize processes and foster problem‑solving practices.
Main requirements:
* Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Management).
* Strong knowledge of production processes and workflows, including manual and automated machinery.
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (Kaizen, 5S).
* Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Fluent in English and Italian.
* Proven leadership and team management abilities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Results‑oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Ability to make decisions and solve problems effectively.
* Highly organized, adaptable, and precise.
* Passionate, flexible, and motivated.
