We are seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of Social Compliance Assessor. This role involves undertaking assessments based on established procedures and client expectations, delivering high-quality reports according to set protocols and timelines, and maintaining knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough assessments of social compliance, adhering to company procedures and client guidelines.
* Produce accurate and comprehensive reports, meeting quality and timeline requirements.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local labor laws and LRQA social compliance assessment procedures.
* Collaborate with internal team members to accomplish tasks during on-site assessments and reporting processes.
* Ensure adherence to company policies regarding integrity, confidentiality, and ethics.
The ideal candidate will possess a university degree in Labor Law, Human Resources, Social Work, Occupational Health and Safety, or Environmental Studies, along with sufficient professional experience to meet LRQA auditor expectations.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of international, national, and local laws and standards related to labor compliance.
* Proficiency in conducting supplier compliance assessments, including confidential worker interviews, employment record reviews, and wage tests.
* Excellent communication skills in Italian (mandatory) and English.
* Ability to travel extensively and frequently, with excellent time management skills and the capacity to work independently under varying conditions.
