We are looking for motivated, customer‑focused individuals to join our team as an Area Manager. In this role, you will lead a team of hourly employees and will be responsible for engaging your team during their shifts to maintain the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You will also play a key role in meeting customer expectations to ensure orders are delivered at the right time and location. Key Responsibilities
Support, mentor, and motivate the hourly workforce. Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises. Collaborate with support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives. Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift. Work in environments with variable noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions (delivery stations may include outside loading departments). Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs).
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of employee and performance management experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience. Work a flexible schedule/shift/area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques (Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma). Experience managing a team of 20+ employees. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or a related field. Industry experience in retail, F&B, military, manufacturing, automotive, biotech, electronics, energy, instrumentation, machinery, defense/aerospace, medical, cosmetics, production, or distribution environments.

Benefits Base salary range: $70,000.00 – $90,900.00 per year. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
