Headquartered near Bergamo, Italy, the company designs and installs high-performance modular systems enabling significant water reuse and operational efficiency for industrial clients. /p pWith strong international exposure (approx. 80% of revenues generated outside Italy) and a fast-growing pipeline of complex projects, the Client is strengthening its organization to accelerate international expansion and consolidate its leadership in sustainable water technologies. /p pThe Company is a private family SME, recently backed by a leading European private equity firm focused on environmental sustainability and is currently entering a bnew phase of international expansion and organizational strengthening to support its next stage of growth /b. /p h3Position – The role: /h3 pThe new role of bTechnical Sales Director /b will report to and work very closely with the CEO, delving into technical details with the goal to developing solutions and establishing standards to lead the creation of a more industrialized, scalable model that will drive growth across strategic accounts as well as key geographies. /p pThe role requires a strong combination of btechnical understanding of industrial water treatment solutions and high-value project sales capabilities /b, managing complex sales cycles with multinational clients and coordinating closely with engineering and project management teams. /p pThe position will play a critical role in expanding Client’s global footprint and strengthening its positioning with leading cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and industrial clients. /p h3Key Objectives and Responsibilities /h3 ul liGain trust within the company and establish solid relationships with both the Executive Team and the Stakeholders /li liDevelop and execute a broad range of tailor‑made technical solutions based on standardised modular components, through the definition of shared engineering guidelines, creation of a technical library (automation, PIDs, specifications, drawings, production costs), and optimization of complexity, timelines, and profit margins /li liTake end to end ownership of the projects, from design to realisation by the Client, granting consistency between proposal, design and implementation on one side, while building solid relationships on the other /li liSupport the CEO in driving international sales growth by expanding the company’s presence with global industrial clients, particularly yet not limited to cosmetics and pharma /li liManage and develop the engineering team to improve the support provided to clients, as a turn‑key element to scale up the organisation /li liStrengthen / establish meaningful relationships with key strategic accounts and large multinational clients /li liManage a robust pipeline of complex engineering projects /li liPosition the Client as a reference technology provider in industrial water recycling and sustainability solutions /li liSupport the company’s scaling phase under private equity ownership, contributing to profitable growth and international expansion /li /ul h3Requirements ("Must have") /h3 pbHard Skills /b /p ul liDegree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical or similar), or equivalent experience /li liProven overall experience (10/12+ years) including at least 5+ years in technical sales of industrial solutions, managing end‑to‑end complex projects with multinational industrial clients, in Italy and abroad /li /ul pTechnical Design and Automation are required within the technical background /p ul liStrong background in water treatment, environmental technologies, process engineering, or similar sectors /li liStrong understanding of engineering‑driven sales cycles and technical proposal development /li liInternational commercial exposure and ability to operate across multiple geographies /li liStrong commercial discipline including pipeline management, forecasting, and contract negotiation /li /ul pbSoft Skills /b /p ul liStrong consultative selling capabilities with a solution‑oriented, scalable mindset /li liAbility to operate effectively at the intersection of technical and commercial environments /li liExcellent relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills /li liStrategic mindset with strong business development orientation /li liHigh level of entrepreneurial spirit and autonomy, suitable for a growing international company /li liStrong communication and influencing skills with senior industrial clients /li liAbility to work in cross‑functional teams with engineering, operations and management /li liFluency in English is a must | French language nice to have /li liLocation: North of Italy, Bergamo area (the position requires presence on‑site) /li /ul pPlease note that only those profiles that meet client requirements will be responded to and contacted.
