Italian electricity market. The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical professional ready to contribute to the energy transition through innovative, data-driven solutions. Key responsibilities
Execute trading activities on the Day-Ahead and Intraday power markets, with a specific focus on Italy. Develop, implement, and maintain automated trading algorithms for physical power assets. Perform in-depth analysis of market drivers to identify trading opportunities and manage risks. Collaborate with internal IT and data science teams on forecasting and short-term trading models. Ensure thorough documentation of all implemented models, trading logics, and operational processes. Requirements
University degree in engineering, economics, mathematics, finance, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in day-ahead and intraday power trading. Solid understanding of European power markets, with a strong focus on the Italian market and dispatching dynamics. Strong analytical skills, structured mindset, and a results-driven approach. Proficient in Excel, VBA,
Python
(preferred) and/or Matlab, and SQL. Fluent in both Italian and English (spoken and written). Team player with excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning and development.
