Account Manager

We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our Account Management team in Milan. You’ll manage relationships with Adyen’s existing clients in Italy. While this role does not focus on acquiring new clients, up-selling Adyen’s products and services within your client portfolio is a key responsibility. With a strategic mindset and a hands-on approach, you’ll contribute to driving growth for some of the world’s major companies.


What you’ll do

* Be the main commercial point of contact for your portfolio of merchants;
* Drive growth of your merchants across multiple sales channels through proactive advisory on Adyen’s products, services, and the international payments landscape;
* Collaborate with global offices and technical and sales teams to develop new features based on merchant needs and to strengthen relationships;
* Manage time-critical, cross-functional initiatives and projects in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with minimal supervision.


Who you are

* A natural networker with high energy, self-starter, proven commercial skills, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong negotiation abilities;
* A strategic thinker with excellent people, project, and time management skills;
* A quick learner and effective communicator with technical understanding;
* 2-5 years of relevant experience in account management or management consulting, working with complex enterprise software, financial services, or similar; payments industry experience is a plus;
* Fluent in Italian and English.
