What To Expect
Tesla is seeking an experienced Account Manager to drive B2B sales of residential and small commercial energy products in Northwest Italy, with a primary focus on our Powerwall home battery system, which stores energy from solar panels and/or the grid. You will develop, maintain, and grow a productive network of customers, including distributors and third-party installers. You will also actively pursue business development opportunities in the region.
We are looking for a sales professional with proven experience in the renewable energy industry. Successful candidates will demonstrate a strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, creativity, passion, and a drive to innovate in a dynamic technological and market environment.
What You'll Do- Achieve sales targets for Powerwall and Wall Connector products within assigned channels in Northwest Italy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with partner accounts, effectively communicating Tesla's product and feature roadmap across their organizations
- Evaluate new business opportunities with existing and potential accounts or sales channels, identify suitable product offerings, and take ownership of capturing these opportunities
- Provide key market insights to the broader business team and deliver sales forecasts to business and manufacturing teams
- Support the evaluation of market dynamics across sectors (e.g., utility, commercial & industrial, residential) and key drivers (e.g., policy/regulatory, economics)
- Represent Tesla at sales and marketing events to promote Powerwall
- Help identify and support the implementation of initiatives to maintain or improve partner training, installation quality, Tesla operations, fulfillment, and support
- Provide user/customer feedback to IT development teams regarding Tesla tools and systems, and to Operations regarding processes
What You'll Bring- 3+ years of experience in an account management or channel sales role within the renewable energy industry
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
- Working knowledge of grid/utility markets and grid-tied technologies
- Fluency in English and Italian
- Flexibility to travel and a valid driver's license
