Main Responsibilities As Business Development Manager, you will drive strategic growth and sales initiatives within the Space sector. Your responsibilities include: Developing and executing the business development and sales strategy in line with the European Business Development Director Building and managing a pipeline of new business opportunities to meet growth targets Leading end-to-end business development activities, including bid strategy, pricing, teaming, and solution development Customer Engagement & Capture Management: Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and customers Understanding customer needs and aligning them with Serco’s capabilities Promoting Serco’s value proposition through proactive engagement Coordinating with internal teams for successful deal execution Supporting capture management and pricing strategies Analyzing unsuccessful bids to improve future proposals Market Representation & Networking: Representing Serco at industry events and associations Coordinating presence at sales events with the marketing team Developing a network within the industry to identify new opportunities Successful Candidate Confident and open-minded in stakeholder interactions Motivated by challenges and business success Team-oriented, experienced in collaborating across functions Strong communication and collaboration skills Good judgment and decision-making abilities Analytical skills to quickly process information and communicate effectively Experience in building business opportunities Minimum of 2 years in a similar role Preferred but not required: Knowledge of the Space sector, especially Earth Observation and downstream applications Understanding of EO data processing algorithms Experience in Earth Observation projects in the downstream domain J-18808-Ljbffr
