Role Overview : The Key Account Manager’s primary mission is to develop a new client base nationwide within the promising market of organized networks of General Practitioners (GPs) and Independent Pediatricians. The primary care sector in Italy is undergoing significant change, with many retirements and a high influx of newly qualified doctors, who are expected to be organized into advanced structures (e.g., Functional Territorial Aggregations, cooperatives, networks, and groups). With significant autonomy and leveraging the comprehensive product portfolio and coordinated marketing support, the Key Account Manager will be responsible for growing market share by identifying and acquiring new organizations. Additionally, the role involves developing and managing relationships with complex healthcare structures offering a wide range of specialist services in a multidisciplinary environment. The Key Account Manager will promote digital solutions that support and optimize integrated patient care in these settings. Key Responsibilities : Achieving assigned new client acquisition targets Managing sales activities, strategic partnerships, and commercial agreements for primary care doctors and pediatricians, especially groups, networks, cooperatives, AFTs (Functional Territorial Aggregations), and Community Health Centers Outbound prospecting (cold calling, emails, events, etc.) to generate new business Managing sales opportunities through presentations and product demos for potential clients Leading and owning the sales negotiations Updating activities in reporting tools and CRM Planning and coordinating marketing initiatives (above and below the line) Promoting brand awareness of primary care and pediatric division products throughout Italy Careful and methodical planning of prospect and client visits to maximize sales and satisfaction Collaborating closely with other sales channels and the support team Adhering to all company policies and processes for transparent opportunity identification and sales completion Skills and Experience Required : High school diploma or university degree Entrepreneurial spirit Ability to work under pressure and towards targets At least 3 years’ experience in sales or direct customer relations in structured environments where planning and analysis are key Knowledge of prospecting methods and networks in healthcare is a plus Excellent communication skills Strong personality, determination, and interpersonal / teamwork skills Good knowledge of English and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Willingness to travel across Italy What’s Offered : Fixed salary plus significant performance-based bonuses Company car (for personal and business use), mobile phone, and laptop If you are ready to take on these challenges and meet the requirements, you are the right person to join our team.
