Employment Type : Full-time We are seeking a full-time Sales Director to work in a dynamic environment. The goal is to develop innovative optical modules based on integrated photonics. We value a highly qualified person specialized in sales with a technical background in electronics and/or photonics engineering (e.g., experience with optical systems, optical components, and optical sensors). While coordinating all the activities related to business development and account management, you will be expected to proactively help us improve our products, work environment, and company, looking for opportunities to better the way we do things, even outside your area of responsibility. Finally, detailed reporting and presentation activities are required from time to time to create a shared knowledge base. Responsibilities Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base Manage the opportunity pipeline: identify sales prospects, generate and qualify the lead opportunities, manage customer proposals/quotations (solicited and unsolicited), and negotiate contractual terms and conditions. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
