EMEA Logistics Services Commodity – Indirect Procurement
Basic Function

Responsibilities, Accountabilities
Contract management: creation and maintenance of contracts with suppliers.
RFQ and RFI: management and execution according to service requirements defined by the Business.
Rate management: maintenance of rate sheets shared with carriers, maintenance of rates in logistic systems, fuel surcharge monitoring and communication.
Budget: definition follow-up, individuation and implementation of saving initiatives.
Logistic analysis: support for the central department in ad hoc logistic studies for production footprint changes or specific distribution analysis.
Job Requirements and Qualifications
Very good oral and written communication skills.
Interest in transport management operations, transportation industry, architecture, and service types (FTL, parts distribution, whole goods, etc.). Interest in Warehouse management services, from storage to JIT/JIS processes.
Proficiency in process and data analysis using MS tools.
Excellent MS Office skills: Excel (mandatory), PowerPoint, Word.
Influence on a budget of $300M (RFQs from $0.1M to $20M).
Degree or equivalent in Engineering or Economics.
Willingness to travel as required.
Additional Job Requirements
Willingness to learn and grow within the Logistic Services purchasing department.
Knowledge of at least two European languages; English mandatory, French or German is a plus.
