A leading international industrial group operating in the energy infrastructure value chain is seeking aSales Manager Europe – Transformersto support the growth of its transformer components business across the European market.The company is a long-established global manufacturer supplying critical components to major OEMs and industrial customers worldwide. The role is aimed at a senior commercial professional capable of leveraging an existing network of contacts within the transformers industry to generate new business and accelerate market expansion.Responsibilities:Develop and expand the European transformers business by leveraging an existing and active network of customers and decision makers within the transformer manufacturing industryGenerate new opportunities and sales by activating established commercial relationships with OEMs and key players in the transformer marketManage the full commercial cycle, from opportunity identification to negotiation and contract closureLead commercial negotiations and prepare technical and economic proposals in collaboration with internal engineering and operations teamsSupport technical and contractual discussions with customers and prospectsMaintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients across EuropeMonitor commercial performance and report regularly to senior management on pipeline, opportunities, and resultsCollaborate with internal departments (engineering, production, quality, logistics) to ensure customer requirements are properly addressedRepresent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings across EuropeContribute to market intelligence and competitor analysis to support strategic business development initiativesRequirements:Solid experience (5+ years) in sales or business development within the transformers industryDemonstrated ability to generate business through an existing network of contacts with transformer manufacturers and industry stakeholdersProven track record in selling technical components or assemblies for transformer applicationsStrong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation and relationship-management skillsFluent in English; additional European languages are considered a plusAvailability to travel frequently across EuropeAbility to operate independently while coordinating with international and cross-functional teamsFamiliarity with CRM systems and standard office toolsLocation:Italy, preferably within reasonable reach of Northern Italy, for periodic alignment with headquartersFrequent travel across Europe is requiredOfferBase salary between €60,000 and €75,000 gross per year, depending on experiencePerformance-based bonus linked to sales resultsInternational exposure within a growing industrial environment
