We’re on a mission to become the world’s most requested PPE and Safety Wear Brand. /ph3Job Summary /h3pAs the Area Sales Manager for bBasilicata and Calabria /b, you will bring your PPE and/or workwear experience to sell Portwest products to distributors reporting into the Country Manager. We have had extensive growth over the past number of years, and we are looking for you to join to continue this growth trajectory. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliBuild quality business relationships with new and existing accounts. /liliConduct daily face-to-face sales meetings to maintain and develop relationships with distributors, resellers, and agents. /liliIdentify existing customers with high growth potential and create a roadmap for their further development. /liliIdentify new business opportunities and complete sales planning schedule. /liliUtilise strategies to win new business on a continuous and consistent basis. /liliEngage in consultative selling by identifying customers’ needs and provide a Portwest solution to meet those needs. /liliDevelop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. /liliFocus on selling new Portwest products by bringing samples to each meeting. /liliEnsure effective after meeting follow up to close sales. /liliConduct ongoing development of market intelligence, including marketing events such as trade shows, seminars, exhibitions, and journals which is fed back to the business. /liliPromote distributor promotions on our products with end users. /li /ulh3Requirements /h3ulli3–5 years' experience selling PPE, workwear or safety wear. /liliExperience selling on behalf of a manufacturer, distributor, reseller or agent. /liliSales experience in a related industry: Construction, Tools Machinery, Industrial, etc. /liliDrive to continue sales growth of Portwest through field sales. /liliClean driving licence and willingness to travel throughout your designated region. /liliStrong interpersonal and negotiating skills. /liliPositive attitude with a winning mentality. /liliExcellent team player. /li /ulh3Company Awards /h3ulliGreat Place To Work 2024 /liliPrivate Irish Business of the year – Export Industry Awards 2024 /liliSilver Ecovadis Sustainability Rating 2025 /li /ulpApplicants must have a right to live and work in the relevant jurisdiction. /ppPortwest is an equal opportunity employer.
