What you’ll do:
In this role, you’ll be a hands-on sushi chef — not just behind the counter, but fully part of a small, fast-moving kitchen. From prepping fish to rolling sushi to plating with precision, you’ll bring skill, speed, and consistency to every service. Flexibility is key: you’ll own the sushi section but also step in and support other chefs when needed, working as one team to deliver excellence.
Who you are:
Experienced sushi chef with proven skills in preparation, plating, and presentation
Expert in knife work, fish handling, and strict hygiene standards
Flexible and collaborative — ready to help across sections when service demands it
Passionate about Japanese and Nikkei cuisine, with a drive to refine your craft
Calm under pressure, detail-focused, and committed to consistency
Open to learning and adapting in a small, dynamic kitchen
Available for 2 split shifts + 3 straight shifts, including evenings and weekends (2 days off)
