Hardware designer - iot ed embedded systems Luogo di lavoro: TorinoIntuos Srl, an innovative company in digital services for the aviation industry, is looking for a: Hardware Designer - IoT and Embedded Systems Our client, Intuos Srl, is a technology startup based in L’Aquila, focused on developing digital solutions for the aviation industry. The company provides aircraft owners with real-time telemetric data, an alarm system, and predictive analytics through a SaaS platform integrated with proprietary IoT devices and Artificial Intelligence models.Role Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electronic circuits (PCB) for IoT devices, ensuring stability, security, and regulatory compliance, from design phase through to prototyping and technical documentation. The role also includes firmware development, working closely with the software team in a collaborative environment. The candidate will work closely with the company’s head of technology to ensure project quality in line with business requirements.Key Responsibilities: Design and development of electronic circuits for IoT devices, ensuring stability, security, and compliance with aviation regulations. Utilize CAD software (Fusion360 and KiCad), optimizing space and performance. Develop and test high-performance firmware for embedded systems using C/C++ and FreeRTOS. Collaboration with the software team for firmware integration and optimization with the developed hardware Design and development of electronic boards with microcontrollers, sensors, and antennas. Create, assemble, and manage prototypes, meeting industry standards and ensuring high quality. Prepare technical documentation for production and certification.Requirements: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent. At least one year of experience in IoT and embedded systems. Proficiency with CAD software such as Fusion360 and KiCad. Embedded programming in C/C++, familiarity with FreeRTOS. Experience designing and developing electronic boards for microcontrollers, sensors, and antennas. Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous learning mindset. Proficiency in English.
