About the Role On behalf of our client, an Italian beverage company, we are seeking an experienced Export Manager to drive the commercial development of our client's business across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with a primary focus on Germany. This role is pivotal in strengthening the company’s presence in the region, managing distributor relationships, and identifying growth opportunities in both established and emerging channels. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement export strategies to achieve sales targets in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, with priority on the German market. Manage and nurture relationships with local distributors, wholesalers, and key accounts. Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic decisions. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional activities in alignment with company objectives. Ensure effective implementation of brand plans in collaboration with distributors and local partners. Coordinate with internal cross-functional teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to guarantee smooth business operations and market support. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and analysis to the Export Director. Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and customer meetings. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or related field. Minimum 5 years of export management or international sales experience, preferably in the beverage, FMCG, or consumer goods sector. Proven track record of driving growth in Germany and familiarity with the DACH region’s trade structures. Strong negotiation and relationship management skills. Excellent communication skills in English and German (both written and spoken) High degree of autonomy, entrepreneurial mindset, and results orientation. Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
