Overview
The new hire will join the Direct Materials Team, reporting directly to the Team Leader. In this role, the candidate will actively support Buyers and the Team Leader throughout the procurement processes related to the purchasing of Direct Materials. The position offers a valuable opportunity to contribute to optimizing supply chain efficiency and supplier relationships within a dynamic and international business environment.
Main Activities & Responsibilities
* Creating and managing purchase orders within the Company’s E-Procurement platform;
* Handling order non-conformities;
* Providing necessary administrative support;
* Management and qualification of suppliers using the Company's E-Procurement platform;
* Assisting Buyers in managing supply tenders, cost analysis, and contractual negotiations;
* Conducting negotiations with suppliers.
The candidate will liaise with the colleagues of the Procurement Team, with the technical managers for the product categories assigned to him / her and with the company suppliers.
Job Requirements
* At least a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences or, alternatively, in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields is required
* Previous experience in Procurement, even if short, will be considered a plus
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
* Good knowledge of English language
* Ability to work effectively in dynamic and international environments;ì
* Strong teamwork skills;
* Flexibility in working hours and conditions;
* Willingness to undertake occasional travel within Italy.
Contract type: agency contract fixed term 12 months
