Job Description
This is a senior culinary role responsible for overseeing the food production process in a high-end kitchen environment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
* Directs and supervises a team of chefs and cooks to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen.
* Coordinates and oversees food production, including menu planning, ordering, and inventory management.
* Maintains high standards of quality and presentation in all dishes served.
* Ensures compliance with health and safety regulations and maintains a clean and organized kitchen environment.
* Manages kitchen operations, including scheduling, training, and evaluating staff performance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* A minimum of 8 years of experience in a high-end kitchen environment, preferably as a chef de partie or sous chef.
* Culinary school degree required.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and presentation styles.
* Experience with menu planning, ordering, and inventory management.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and protocols.
