Overview
For our client, an important company operating in the eyewear sector, we are looking for a Product Manager.
Responsibilities
* Product Development: Research and identify market trends; collaborate with design and engineering teams to conceptualize and develop new products that meet safety standards and address customer needs; manage the product development process from ideation through prototyping, testing, and final production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met; stay up-to-date on industry safety standards and regulations, ensuring all products comply with relevant requirements; work closely with regulatory affairs teams to obtain necessary certifications and approvals.
* Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion in the market, including assessing competitor products and pricing strategies; develop product positioning and pricing strategies based on market research and competitive analysis.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, operations, and supply chain to ensure successful product launches and ongoing product support; work closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source materials, manage production schedules, and maintain quality standards.
* Customer Engagement: Gather feedback from customers, safety professionals, and industry experts to continuously improve existing products and identify opportunities for new product development; provide product training and support to sales teams, distributors, and end-users as needed.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, product design, business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
* Proven experience (5+ years) in product development and management.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback to drive product strategy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
