Sous Chef – Wine Resort
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our Wine Resort. The ideal candidate has a strong appreciation for seasonal ingredients, refined cuisine, and the relationship between food and wine. You will support the Kitchen Staff in delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect the elegance and authenticity of our estate.
Responsibilities
* Assist overseeing daily kitchen operations
* Lead and support kitchen staff in all aspects of food preparation and service
* Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and adherence to culinary standards
* Collaborate on menu execution with a focus on wine pairings and seasonal products
* Monitor food products, storage, and preparation to maintain high quality standards
* Establish and maintain cleaning, sanitation, and equipment maintenance schedules
* Train, mentor, and develop kitchen staff to uphold resort and hospitality standards
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace regulations
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 years of professional culinary experience, preferably in upscale dining, hospitality, or resort environments
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* High level of organization and attention to detail
* Passion for fine cuisine, local ingredients, and wine culture
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
