Role
The Senior Export Manager will take on a strategic and hands-on role in redefining and expanding the international commercial presence.
This position offers a unique opportunity to build a structured Export and Business Development function from the ground up — setting priorities by region, developing go-to-market strategies, managing key accounts and distributors, and driving new business growth across target markets.
The role reports directly to the General Management, with close collaboration with ownership to align business goals and organizational culture.
Key responsibilities: Redefine and restructure the Export function, setting regional and customer priorities; Develop go-to-market strategies and business plans for selected markets (Europe—UK, France, Scandinavia—and overseas: Americas, North Africa, Middle East); Identify and establish new dealers, distributors, and key customers across different industrial sectors; Manage and develop existing relationships with medium-to-large customers; Ensure alignment between commercial execution, customer service, and strategic goals; Act as a reference point for major negotiations and international partnerships.
Requirements
At least 15 years’ experience in similar international commercial roles within structured Industrial B2B environments; Background in plastic or metal piping systems, fittings, pumps, valves, HVAC/industrial fluid systems, or closely related sectors; Degree preferred; Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; proficiency in French is highly valued; Proven international negotiation and relationship management skills; Experience in team leadership and cross-functional collaboration; Strong organizational and project management capabilities; Strategic vision combined with a pragmatic, execution-oriented mindset.
