Key Responsibilities
Review work forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet overall building objectives.Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor, ensuring a balanced and efficient shift while meeting all goals.Support all safety programs to maintain a safe work environment for all associates.Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
Qualifications
2+ years of employee and performance management experience.Direct management experience with employees and their performance.Experience with performance metrics and process improvement (how, when, who).Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.Flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly.Physical ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement, or Lean techniques experience.
