Key Account Manager
As a Key Account Manager based in Milan, you will play a central role in managing and developing a portfolio of strategic Italian clients, while contributing to company’s overall growth in Southern Europe.
You will act as the main point of contact for your accounts, building long-term partnerships and ensuring that our payment solutions effectively support their business goals — from conversion optimization to international expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of key Italian clients, ensuring their satisfaction, loyalty, and commercial success.
* Develop tailored account strategies to drive business growth, identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities, and maximize value creation.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (C-level, e-commerce directors, finance managers, etc.).
* Conduct regular business reviews and performance analyses to ensure continuous improvement and strategic alignment.
* Coordinate with cross-functional teams (technical, product, compliance, data, support) to deliver seamless and effective solutions.
* Provide strategic and functional advice on company’s payment solutions, highlighting product benefits and innovative features.
* Act as the voice of the customer, identifying evolving needs and contributing to the improvement of our offers and services.
* Ensure accurate reporting of activities, forecasts, and results to management.
* Minimum 4 years of experience in key account management or business development, ideally within payments, e-commerce, or technology sectors.
* Strong ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative, customer-focused mindset.
* Analytical and results-driven, comfortable with data and performance metrics.
* Autonomous, organized, and adaptable — thriving in a fast-paced, changing environment.
* Fluent in Italian and English (French is a plus).
