Overview
The Hassler Roma is one of the most prestigious hotels in the world, located in the heart of Rome next to the Spanish Steps and Piazza di Spagna. It features 82 rooms and suites and the Michelin-starred panoramic restaurant Imàgo. The Hassler also owns Il Palazzetto, a 16th-century property with a panoramic cocktail bar and private event space.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategies to achieve financial results, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction. Lead the Sales & Marketing Team with the responsibility of meeting revenue targets and growing market share for the property.
* Analyze market trends and competitor activity to advise Management and implement strategies that maintain the hotel as a market leader through the development of commercial initiatives.
* Develop and implement the business plan to maximize sales and marketing efforts across all segments (International/National Luxury Leisure, Leisure/TO/Groups, Corporate & MICE) to achieve company targets.
* Prepare corporate contracts in accordance with current commercial conditions and pricing policies.
* Define and manage plans and strategies with public relations and social media agencies.
* Define and manage strategic plans to acquire and develop business partnerships to meet company objectives.
* Define the annual Sales & Marketing budget and identify the best actions for growth to reach company goals.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to create a unique guest experience and develop sales programs.
* Ensure that sales and marketing information provided to operational departments is timely and accurate to meet or exceed guest expectations, build loyalty, and increase market share.
* Identify changing market conditions and adjust sales and marketing strategies accordingly.
* Attend trade shows and industry events.
* Negotiate room rates and packages with clients.
Qualifications
* 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within luxury hotels of equal standing.
* Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of a third language is preferred.
* Background in the tourism sector with a passion for sales and marketing and for achieving ambitious goals.
* Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills, customer orientation, and willingness to travel within Italy and abroad.
