Business Development Manager – Spain or Italy
About the Role
We are seeking a self-motivated, commercially minded and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Central/Western Europe region. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on expanding market presence, building strong relationships, and delivering strategic sales performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including RFP responses, contract negotiations, accurate CRM management, forecasting and required administrative duties.
* Drive strategic sales activities in line with annual revenue and growth targets.
* Monitor and analyse sales performance, taking proactive action through relationship building, negotiation, and creative problem-solving.
* Identify, engage and onboard new business partners (distributors, VARs, resellers) or end-customers.
* Conduct thorough market research to understand customers, competitors, industry trends and market dynamics, and adjust your sales approach accordingly.
* Represent the organisation at customer meetings, sales events, and industry exhibitions to strengthen brand presence and generate ROI.
Skills and Experience Required
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar Business Development or Sales role, ideally within a relevant technology or security-related market.
* Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term stakeholder relationships.
* Highly self-motivated, target-driven and proactive, with the ability to work independently while maintaining strong performance.
* Experience working with integrators, access control, security or asset management technologies is an advantage.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively across the region, including regular overnight and international travel.
* Strong objection-handling capabilities.
* Fluency in English is essential.
