Role
We are looking for a
Sous Chef
with creativity, passion, and a desire to be part of SUSHISAMBA Milano. In this role, you will contribute to the management of the kitchen and support the Head Chef in maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Head Chef in overseeing preparation and service, ensuring every dish meets brand standards.
Communicating effectively with the kitchen brigade daily to achieve culinary objectives.
Training, motivating, and leading the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive environment.
Handling special guest requests, ensuring impeccable service.
Maintaining order, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen, following HACCP procedures and food safety standards.
Monitoring stock and production line organization to ensure efficiency and continuity of service.
Actively contributing creative ideas for dishes and kitchen processes.
What We Are Looking For
At least 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef, preferably in Japanese or fusion restaurants.
Experience in main kitchen, robata and sushi sections.
In-depth knowledge of Japanese cuisine and international culinary techniques.
Excellent command of Italian and English.
Team spirit, natural leadership, and a positive attitude.
Experience with HACCP procedures, food safety, and hygiene standards.
