Major Food Group has is looking for an experienced individual to join our team!This fine-dining concept is hiring an Executive Sous Chef with strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen safety and sanitation, effective time management and quality control.RESPONSIBILITIES
Sourcing ordering and receiving the highest quality ingredientsDeveloping, teaching, and maintaining all recipes and techniquesOrganizing a large team and holding each chef accountable for their responsibilitiesOverseeing and maintaining a smooth professional serviceMaintaining all kitchen equipment and following up for any repairs neededMaintaining high standards of cleanliness and organizationOverseeing scheduling and inventory to work within a set budget
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of experience in a managing capacityPrevious experience in Michelin-starred (1, 2, or 3) and/or NY Times (2 or more stars) is preferredCulinary diploma or equivalent in experience strongly preferredTeam-orientated and positive attitudeStrong communication skills a must
