Senior Sales Manager – Italy

Our client is an international provider of industrial automation, process control, and digitalisation solutions for process industries. The company supports customers across sectors such as energy, chemicals, manufacturing, and industrial processing through advanced automation technologies, engineering services, and digital transformation solutions.
Develop and execute sales strategies and business development plans for the Italian market.
Achieve regional sales targets and profitability objectives.
Build and maintain relationships with key industrial customers, EPC contractors, and strategic partners.
Lead commercial activities including project identification, tender management, negotiations, and contract execution.
Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
Gather market intelligence and provide competitor analysis and customer insights.
Develop and manage channel partners and local business networks.
Work closely with technical and project teams to support successful project delivery.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of sales or business development experience within industrial automation, process control, instrumentation, engineering services, or related industries.
Experience managing EPC accounts and industrial projects is highly desirable.
Understanding of industrial automation technologies such as DCS, PLC, instrumentation, industrial software, and digitalisation solutions.
Strong commercial, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Existing network within the Italian industrial sector is advantageous.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Fluent in Italian and English.
