Join to apply for the SALES MANAGER - EUROPE role at Lovati&Associati | Head Hunter Italia Overview For the Italian branch of a multinational company in the electromechanical components sector, we are looking for: Role Purpose Interact with clients, distributors and colleagues to develop the business and achieve sales objectives in line with company guidelines. Identify potential clients (POT - Potential) and increase market share (SOM - Share of Market) through Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety, while identifying the real future needs of clients and translating them into specifications for new or modified products. Main Responsibilities and Activities Market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and trends Proactive management of the assigned market and client portfolio, with a strong focus on consolidating existing clients and acquiring new ones (POT), ensuring continuous business growth Achievement of revenue and budget targets, managing sales prices and the overall sales process, including independent negotiations, monthly sales reports and budgeting processes Flexibility and availability for frequent business trips in Italy and abroad (France and Germany) to meet clients and distributors Conduct presentations, visits and sales calls to clients and distributors Promote solutions, propose alternatives and optimize the adaptation of company components to client needs; carry out post-sale follow-up activities in close collaboration with the technical and quality teams Collect, discuss and review client credits where necessary Experience and Required Skills Degree in Electronic Engineering or Technical Diploma 6-10 years of experience as a technical-commercial Sales Manager Italy/abroad, with proven knowledge of the reference market and trends in the electronic and mechanical components sector, gained through experience and continuous training (including participation in industry associations and networks) Commercial experience in electromechanical components for the automotive, agricultural, defense and home appliance sectors, across Italy and Europe Expertise in contract management, negotiation (including extra-price), sales target setting and forecasting, new business development, commercial arguments and business planning Participation in reorganization phases, change management, team growth, and the development of new market strategies Soft Skills Manager with a situational leadership style, highly proactive and collaborative, communicative and goal-oriented. Excellent decision-making and strategic problem-solving skills, with strong implementation abilities, client orientation and focus on team development. Languages and IT Skills Fluent Italian and English (French and/or German is a plus) Good knowledge of MS Excel (including advanced functions such as pivot tables), Word and PowerPoint Company Location Central Italy. Due to the nature of the role, involving frequent travel in Italy and abroad, the Sales Manager can be based anywhere in the country, with back-office activities managed in smart working.
