We work closely with experienced and qualified professionals across a wide range of industry sectors, delivering bespoke recruitment solutions on a variety of roles for mid and senior level.

As Reed, we are seeking a detail-oriented and service‑driven Key Account Manager (Sales Back Office & Customer Care) for our client operating in the Packaging and Container Manufacturing sector, for their facility located in the Milan area.

This position serves as a central point of coordination for customer communication, order accuracy, logistics follow-up, and service performance. It requires a service-oriented, patient, and detail-focused professional with strong communication abilities and a commercial mindset suited for long-term relationship management.

Qualifications

* 2–5 years of experience in sales support, commercial back office, customer service or key account management,
* Experience in working with demanding clients, ideally in pharma, packaging or manufacturing environments,
* Strong customer focus with excellent organizational, communication and follow‑up skills,
* Fluent in English, both written and verbally,
* Residing in or willing to relocate to the Milan area.

Requirements

* Serve as the main contact point for existing customers, ensuring timely, accurate and high-quality service,
* Collaborate with production, logistics, technical and QA teams to resolve requests and maintain customer satisfaction,
* Ensure timely responses to inquiries and monitor logistics processes, deliveries and JIT shipments,
* Work in close alignment with the Business Development Manager on shared accounts,
* Manage daily customer operations including order entry, documentation, quotations and general communication,
* Conduct scheduled client visits and support customer meetings, audits or qualification activities,
* Participate in industry events, exhibitions and customer meetings when needed.
