Overview
BP Filtration Sales Specialist & related consumables Italy is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within the assigned territory and for establishing professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. The position reports to the BioProcess Zone Filtration leader – South and Export and is part of the BioProcess Filtration team located in Italy. The role will be remote to cover North and Central Italy.

What you will do
* Be responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales and profit
* Focus on growth and identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory
* Forecast the filtration business, including recurring business and new opportunities
* Work with the R&D department to specify new target molecules in clinical phases
* Support other colleagues selling products not included in your portfolio
Who you are
* Education : degree in chemistry or biology or equivalent scientific degree
* Years of experience : at least 5 years
* Sales & commercial skills (communication, negotiation, active listening)
* Technical skills (knowledge of pharmaceutical processes)
* Fluent English & Italian knowledge
Travel
* Ability to travel – at least 40% of the time, 2–3 days per week could be overnight – territory : North & Central Italy
* Driver license type B
Nice to have
* Previous work experience in pharmaceutical or biotech industry (Production or R&D department or QA department)
* Or previous work experience in similar technical commercial roles
