About The Role

We're looking for a Key Account Manager to join our team and take ownership of a portfolio of strategic B2B clients. You'll be the primary point of contact for some of our most important relationships, responsible for retention, growth, and long-term partnership development.

This role sits at the crossroads of commercial and operational work. You'll need to understand client needs deeply, coordinate internally to deliver on them, and consistently find ways to grow the relationship. 3-5 years of B2B account management experience required, ideally in fintech, payments, or financial services.


Key Responsibilities

* Client Ownership: Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts, acting as the main point of contact and building strong, trusted relationships.
* Retention and Growth: Drive renewals and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your existing book of business.
* Client Success: Understand each client's business needs and work cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Compliance to ensure they get the most out of Hercle’s solutions.
* Commercial Reporting: Track account health, usage metrics, and revenue performance, flagging risks early and presenting clear pipeline updates to leadership.
* Market Feedback: Gather and relay client insights to internal teams to inform product and service improvements.


Requirements

* 3-5 years of experience in B2B account management, client success, or a closely related commercial role
* Proven track record of managing and growing complex client relationships and revenues
* Strong commercial mindset: you understand how to identify and develop revenue opportunities within an existing account base
* Comfortable working with a data-driven approach to customer metrics
* Excellent communicator, able to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, senior management and c-level executives within customer organisations
* Self-sufficient and proactive: you own your accounts and don't wait for problems to escal ate
* Fluent in English; proficiency in one or more European languages is a plus


Nice To Have

* Background in fintech, payments, crypto, or financial services
* Experience working in a startup or scale-up environment
* Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce)
* Can use AI for data automation and reporting
