Strategic Account Manager (SAM) South Europe – ElectronicsPrefered location: Italy, with openness to candidates based in Spain or France.ResponsibilitiesDrive new business development within strategic accounts and expand share of wallet by identifying and pursuing additional opportunities in the assigned region.Develop and implement actionable and detailed strategic account plans aligned with business line goals and objectives.Build, maintain, and grow relationships across multiple business units within strategic accounts, with a focus on electronics.Manage regional and global projects with strategic accounts by involving the appropriate internal stakeholders and ensuring that critical milestones are achieved; act as the primary point of contact, ensuring alignment between customer requirements and company value propositions.Collaborate closely with technical, marketing, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions and validated value propositions.Present ELANTAS products and services with a comprehensive understanding of how solutions meet customer needs.Identify electronics market dynamics and customer expectations (developments, products, services) and translate them into relevant business growth opportunities.Ensure timely and accurate sales-related administrative activities, including forecasts, monthly reporting, CRM maintenance, and use of internal tools.RequirementsBachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in various electronics market segments such as computing, communications, consumer, or industrial, preferably automotive electronics.Extensive experience leading international projects under automotive quality frameworks, specifically IATF 16949.Broad technical knowledge of adhesives, conformal coatings, potting resins, and electronics assembly processes.In-depth knowledge of the local markets and competitive landscape.Proven track record of managing strategic accounts and driving revenue growth in a global B2B environment.Excellent written and oral communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with fluency in Italian and French required; additional languages are an advantage.Ability to manage complex accounts and influence decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization and with cross-functional teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insights and support strategic decision-making.Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and other business systems (e.g. SAP).Willingness to travel extensively across South Europe (up to 50%), occasionally internationally, and possession of a valid passport.Location: Collecchio (PR).Job ID: AW00317.ALTANA AG and its subsidiaries is an equal opportunity employer.
