Sales Director – Milan | International B2B Services
This is a highly operational & field-oriented leadership role
Our client is a well-established international B2B services organisation, known for supporting companies through solution-led commercial models designed to enhance performance, agility and long-term growth.
They are currently looking to hire a Sales Director based in Milan to support commercial performance across Italy by working closely with the sales teams, strengthening day-to-day execution, and ensuring the effective local implementation of the group's commercial strategy.
Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Management, this is a highly operational and field-oriented leadership role.
The successful candidate will not be expected to define the overall commercial strategy for Italy, which is driven at group level, but will play a key role in translating that strategy into concrete local actions, improving sales effectiveness, supporting teams on the field and driving commercial results.
This role will suit a hands-on sales leader who enjoys being close to the business, coaching teams, improving execution and operating in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, support and develop sales teams across Italy to improve performance, conversion and commercial discipline
• Stay close to day-to-day sales activity, pipeline management, client interactions and team performance
• Coach and support sales managers and salespeople to improve execution and drive results
• Translate group commercial priorities into practical and actionable local plans
• Monitor KPIs, reporting, pipeline visibility and conversion metrics to identify improvement opportunities
• Drive accountability, commercial focus and execution across the sales organisation
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to align around business priorities and customer needs
• Remain connected to the market and customers to support commercial growth opportunities
Candidate Profile
• Fluent Italian and English
• Proven experience in B2B sales leadership within fast-paced and performance-driven environments
• Strong track record of driving sales growth, improving conversion rates and developing sales teams
• Highly operational and hands-on leadership style
• Strong coaching and people management capabilities
• Data-driven mindset with strong KPI and sales performance analysis skills
• Ability to build and implement concrete action plans to improve commercial performance
• Comfortable operating within an international group structure
• Results-oriented, pragmatic and execution-focused
Previous experience in real estate or property is not required.
Salary & Benefits
• Salary up to €100,000 gross per annum depending on experience
• Performance-related bonus
