Job Title: Business Development Manager
This role involves strategic planning and execution to drive sales growth and expansion in the Italian market. You will work closely with our management team to negotiate deals and identify new business opportunities.
About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and implementing a sales strategy that meets our business objectives. This includes defining product offerings, identifying target customers, and negotiating contracts.
Main Responsibilities
* Negotiate Deals: Collaborate with our management team to negotiate sales agreements with existing and prospective customers.
* Identify New Opportunities: Search for new business opportunities, particularly in relation to replacing Polyamide compounds.
* Manage Customer Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
* Control Sales Volumes: Monitor and control sales volumes with assigned customers, ensuring compliance with contracts and planned sales targets.
* Risk Management: Identify, anticipate, and manage customer risks, financial risks, delivery disruptions, and changes in the customer's structure.
Your Profile
* Sales and Negotiation Techniques: Utilize various sales and negotiation techniques to achieve business objectives.
* Product Knowledge: Demonstrate detailed knowledge of our technical possibilities and products' advantages.
* Industry Expertise: Possess good knowledge of the plastics industry and plastics processing, particularly injection moulding, with a proven track record of successful account management.
* Analytical Mindset: Apply analytical thinking to adjust to changing market conditions and make informed decisions.
* Decision-Making Skills: Exhibit strong decision-making skills to identify and mitigate potential problems with customers.
* Interpersonal Skills: Display strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate internally and externally at different levels and with various departments.
* Time Management: Demonstrate excellent time management and priority setting skills with a self-propelled attitude.
* Technical Skills: Effectively use MS Office and ERP systems.
* Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
