This role involves developing and implementing effective supplier and category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. The Direct Procurement Senior Category Manager Corporate collaborates with various departments to understand their procurement needs and aligns procurement strategies to support the organization's overall goals and objectives. /ppKey responsibilities : /ppbCategory and Supplier Strategy : /b /pulliDevelop and implement strategic procurement plans for direct goods and services. /liliAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify procurement opportunities and risks. /liliIdentify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts and agreements. /liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality products / services and timely deliveries. /liliMonitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement plans as necessary. /li /ulpbCost Management : /b /pulliOptimize costs by negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. /liliIdentify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service. /li /ulpbCollaboration and Communication : /b /pulliCollaborate with internal stakeholders (such as departments requiring direct goods / services) to understand their needs and requirements. /liliCommunicate procurement policies and procedures to internal teams, ensuring compliance and understanding of best practices. /li /ulpbCompliance and Risk Management : /b /pulliEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. /liliIdentify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier financial instability. /li /ulpbContract Management : /b /pulliDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and in compliance with legal requirements. /liliMonitor contract performance, renew contracts as needed, and manage contract expiration and renewal processes. /li /ulpbData Analysis and Reporting : /b /pulliAnalyze procurement data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for management. /liliUtilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve procurement processes. /li /ulpbRequirements : /b /pulliMaster’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. /liliProven experience in direct procurement, preferably in a managerial role.
